PubMed Redesign

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) recently launched a preview of the newly redesigned PubMed interface. The purpose of this redesign was to simplify the look of the interface while maintaining many of its useful features. According to the NLM Technical Bulletin, the PubMed preview version "is expected to run for at least two weeks after which PubMed will exist in the redesigned version."

The Maguire Medical Library staff is currently in the process of developing materials and providing instruction to assist users with the transition. Stay tuned for additional information on this process.

Pubmed is a citation database for finding abstracts and full text articles. To access full text articles select the "FSU" button present on the top right corner of the abstract page. If you do not see the "FSU" button, search for the journal on the library's E-journals list. If you are located off-campus, remember to log into EZProxy first.
